...and do I love it!!! You did see my Smarties post, right? Yeah, it's that serious.  Most people are chocoholics, but me? It's all about the candy. Sweet... sour... yummy.

I am a complete sugar addict!!
It's really bad. I can go through a box (not a bag, a box) of Sprees or Sour Patch Kids in less than a day.

Wonka is a God send.  I will murder some Wonka candy!!

You guys already know I love Smarties but some of my other favs are the above seen, Sour Straws, Twizzlers, Fun Dip, Pixy Sticks, and so so much more!!

Don't get me wrong, I like my fair share of chocolate too. Peanut and Almond M&Ms I eat on a daily basis in bulk (when I'm not on Weight Watchers), I love Wonka Exceptionals and Wonka Bars, and World's Finest Chocolate? Forget it. Devoured. But the sugary/sour stuff ...it steals my heart!!

Are you a sugarholic? What are some of your favorite candies?

I wanted one so bad for the longest time, so imagine my surprise almost 5 years ago when my love surprised me with a little doxi all my own!!

This is my Roxi Moon!!

Baby Roxi... my mini dapple doxi girl!!
 She is the perfect cuddle pup and my sweet little fur baby!!

Dachshund Facts:
1. Dachshund were bread to hunt badgers and burrowing animals. In fact, the name dachshund is German for "badger dog".
2. They can be quite stubborn.
3. They are very playful and like to chase small animals (hence the torture of my cats :-\ )
4. They have a very loud almost shrill bark (seriously goes right through you)
5. They are very loyal!

Who is your favorite fur baby?

{1. Background: Vintage Holiday Crafts 2. Stitcher's Revolution 3. Vintage Holiday Crafts}

Aren't they just darling?!  They remind me of my childhood. I just loved the little cutesy cards I used to get from my Nana, especially the one's that were textured and the animals were made from felt so they would feel soft and furry.

I love pickles!! I have always loved them, to the point where I drink cups of pickle juice.  Yes, it's that serious.  When I was pregnant with Zee, I was nauseous every single day for three months and pickles were the perfect curve to my nausea in all their beautiful saltiness.

I like many kinds of pickles. Sour dill pickles are bestest but the peppery, spicy one's are great too! Sometimes at Shaw's (a grocery store in the Boston area) they have the old barrels filled with pickles. I got one from their when I was preggers and it was sooo spicy that my nose was running and my eyes were watering. I loved every minute of it!!

My mom's favorite pickles are bread and butter pickles. They're kinda sweet and not at the top of my list but I do eat 'em.  I even eat the pickles that are almost still just cucumbers but with a slight flavor.  My absolute favorite pickles right now are made right here in the Boston area.  Grillo's Pickles! You guys, seriously, YUMMO!!  The hot one's are out of this world!! Coming in at $6.99 a jar, they're a little bit more than your average pickle, but well worth it!

I think homemade pickles are somewhere in my very near future.

Oh... and can you say pickles in a pouch?!!! Yes, por favor!

Do you think people even like pickles enough to tattoo them? ....

{Rate My Ink}

OH YEAH!!!
(even I don't love them that much, lol)

I've heard that some people, oh dare I say it, HATE PICKLES!!!
Are you a pickle lover or hater?

{1. Background: nodoca  2. Ruby Press 3. Audrey Hepburn Complex}

I remember the first camera I owned. It was a kodak camera like this, with drop in film that had a canister on each end.  I was about nine and most of mine and my sisters pictures were of the floor and walls, super extra close pictures of people's faces, or great pictures with our thumbs blocking it.  We did get a couple of good shots but I distinctly remember a lot of thumbs.

And this camera was the one my mom had when we were kids. This is what she used to take the hundreds and hundreds of baby and childhod pictures that she took of us.  I think part of my love for photography came from my mom and her need to capture every
moment of our existence.

Those cameras hold fond memories but the cameras that catch my eye are older still.

The flex cameras steal my heart! At an antique store this summer there was one sitting there just waiting to be bought but it wasn't in good shape and wasnt opening right. If it had been, I promise you, it would have been owned!

I dont know if it's the photographer or the historian in me but something about an old school camera is exciting ...not to mention how fun it is to decorate with them!

This camera isn't actually vintage but it's an oldie but goodie for me. It's my first SLR, a Pentaz ZX-60! ...and it's film ;)

...and by dandelions, I mean the seed heads. Don't they just look magical as their seeds blow through the air carrying all your wishes with them?  The image in blog header displays my love for the beautiful weeds, lol.

...and the tattoos. Oh the ink.

When I move to my new place you will see dandelions incorporated in some way. Maybe like this...

...and aren't these nails just beautiful?

Just think of all the wishes and dreams carried on each and every dandelion seed.

Well, photos and prints of ferris wheels anyway, since I am afraid of heights.  Never completely comfortable riding on one although I do from time to time, but photos of ferris wheels ....I love! They remind me of times past.

Perfectly vintage...
