Random Act of Kindness Week

Today is the kickoff of Random Acts of Kindness Week!!

It's the first day for everyone to head out and perform one random act that will warm somebody's heart. To start the ball rolling, I want to share with all of you my first random act of kindness.

Crafting for a Cause

There is wonderful cause that is a great way to spread a little kindness, Operation Cards for Soldiers.  Alyssa and Carlee of Ladybird Ln and Michelle of Someday Crafts have a great project called Crafting for a Cause and every couple of months or so, there is a new project.  This month the project at hand is Operation Cards for Soldiers.  Everyone is coming together to write Christmas cards to send off to the soldiers through Operation Christmas Cards.

I spent last night and this morning writing out cards to mail off tomorrow morning.

I am completely honored to take part in such a respectable cause and I invite all of you to take part.  Whether you do it for Random Acts of Kindness Week or anytime after, it is a wonderful thing to be a part of!!

What kindness have you spread today?

  2. This is AWESOME! Check out my post on gratitude in action (http://www.sugar-and-spice-and-everything-nice.com/2011/11/gratitude-in-action.html). My family and I are trying to do something like this every week. Last week we packed a box for a very good friend who is serving in Afghanistan. Tomorrow I'll post about another kind of box we're packing!
